Mike
is a senior vice president with Visible Technologies, a leading provider of
social media measurement and online brand activation software and services.
Mike
manages social media and reputation management strategies for Visible Tech's
growing roster of global clients. Over the past three years, Mike has worked
with some of the world's biggest brands, including American Express, FedEx, TD
Bank, GM, Vanguard, and Kraft Foods to name just a few. In addition, Mike also
manages the company's strategic agency partnership program which generates
more than 50% of the company's revenue.
Mike’s
background includes industry-leading work in the development and implementation
of programs that measure the impact of social media across the corporate
enterprise, including how online customer outreach impacts ROI. Mike has worked
with a wide variety of corporate groups, including brand management, market
research, product marketing, customer service and corporate and public
relations.
Mike
also is co-author of the company’s popular VisInsights blog and can be found discussing social media on Twitter under his name.
An
early pioneer of interactive marketing and PR, Mike has been devising digital
communications programs for companies for more than 15 years. Prior to joining
Visible, Mike led the interactive and new media divisions for Interpublic's two
largest PR agencies, Weber Shandwick and Golin Harris.
During his 10 years at Interpublic, Mike created and executed a number of
award-winning campaigns that blended traditional and new media ideas that
produced outstanding business results for his clients, including The Walt
Disney Co., MasterCard, Eastman Kodak, Verizon, Hanes, and the world renowned
"got milk?" campaign.
Mike has produced enormously successful live special events on the Web,
including the premiere of Disney Studios' Pirates of the Caribbean;
Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary; the premiere of Mission Impossible II for
Paramount Studios; GM's Pontiac Solstice; and global business-to-business events
for MasterCard, eFunds and the Chinese government.
PR Week named Mike as one of the industry’s “new leaders of new media” and also
previously nominated him as one of the top five professionals in the industry.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Hartford and resides in the Boston area.
